The friendships here are great. The good shaves are just a bonus. mrchick, it's time for our mid-month group hug!
Much better shave tonight. Either the Omega is breaking in, or starting with a wetter brush helped, or maybe it's both. I had plenty of lather from the TSD Floid Blue Type, and more importantly I was able to actually get it on my face for all 3 passes and touch up. Still not completely perfect, but it's getting better and that's the whole purpose right? Nice shave with the 'goose and Feather Pro (3). Missed a tiny patch by my Adam's apple, so let's say BBS - or DFS + depending on whether your a glass half full or half empty kind of person. And for you poor working stiffs...
I thought I recognized the Derby shave. Lots of leftover stubble, a few rough spots, sweat dripping from the sheer terror of it all.
Why do I feel like this picture will end up being yet another regular among our little group here? Hmmmmmmm.......
hey NCox, how's this for jogging your memory...Many moons ago, I thought the national anthem for Blues games at the Checkerdome was pretty fantastic to hear. (late 70's early 80's).
Nice pull from the annals of St. Louis history! Did you live here then? The Checkerdome - home to the Blues as well as the St. Louis Hawks NBA team for awhile and several others.
I agree.. I will have to order more soon! I was nervous to try them, but now that I have, it and GSB and Feather are my go to blades
I never lived in St. Louis-I just heard it while watching a Bruins-Blues game while in college near Boston. Great sound! Anyway. I have another annal pull for you...I attended the 1966 Baseball All-Star game...LOOOONG story, but I was there.
Sounds good fellow sufferer. It's getting better by the day and I am right there with you on using too many strokes. I tend to almost buff at times. I started trying to lengthen them out today and move on. Keep on keeping on!
Very nice. Well, trivia question then.....who was the MVP of that game played in the "new" Busch Stadium, now the "old" Busch Stadium demolished in 2005?
We'll save you the time... You won't find better than those three and Astra SP. The true test of wet shaving is bbs on two using a Tech and a Derby.
