Moved the Slim back to 6 tonight just for a change. Added some menthol crystals to the shave cream for a little extra cooling. Have a good night!
How's this for a menthol freeze! Tuesday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Astra day 2 First Canadian Polar Vortex SS Diana Sport Menthol Balm Osage Rub AS Aqua di Selva Cologne Just thinking about this shave is making me shiver. This Polar Vortex soap is made in Barrie, Ontario and excellent. Although the scent is relatively mild it's still very pleasant, and it gives TONS of awesome lather with TONS of strong menthol - in fact I'd say that it ranks at about the third coldest soap I have after the Glacials and the Frozen Tundra. Skincare wise, it's also really good. The Diana Sport balm from Austria is another bona-fide iceberg, and a slap or two of the Rubby Dubby Doo can cause your teeth to chatter!

On the 4th shave with this blade and it is still going strong. No signs of tugging or dulling of the blade. Accidently put a little too much menthol glycerin in the lather because the consistency was a little runny. Finished off with CVS AV and the SC Resolution balm. Tuesday's Dove Men Face Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip Gillette Super Adjustable (8) Astra Super Platinum CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Lemon WH Aqua Velva AS The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor on 8 and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Tenth shave of No Variation NoVember. One-third of the way through. So far, so good...
