Its one of my favorite summer aftershaves. Like all Myrsol products the post shave performance is awesome.

Today the cheapo china razor arrived. Pretty amazing what you can get for $4,50

Looks like a Tech clone and does not feel very sturdy, but I guess it will do its job. I think I might try a focus week next month with the cheapest gear available - should be fun. Not too sure I'll feel adventurous enough to use the blade that came with the razor ;)

No, it's not. I had mine out at 36, along with a reshaping of my Uvula to help my sleep apnea. It was two weeks of pain, including a couple of days where things seemed to get a lot better only to come back with a vengeance. As I recall, chewing Aspergum was a big help.

    Nice Milord, by the way.

I hauled an Avon shaving mug and some musk aftershave in a matching decanter. now I'm thinking this has deep woods in it. if you know, let me in on it. it's not labeled.

Help from anyone who knows these razors...ive seen on em on the den and i know that some guys on here use this as your primary razor and some guys use it as thier travel razor...i know nothing about em...i picked it up for 10$ today at an antique store...thats not much money so i wouldnt feel ripped off no matter what, but is that even the correct case? Is the case salvagable? Any way to find out approximate age? The silliest question i have is do you just throw a de blade in it? Thanks guys any info would be appreciated either way im happy with todays find oh and scrubbing bubbles ok on this one? 20151111_033445.jpg

I actually like that model. I think it's referred to as the 1912. It should have the patent date where the handle screws in.

It requires a different (lower) angle. But once you dial in that sweet spot, they are very efficient razors..IMO.

My most recent acquisitions: a Gillette New (how do I figure out which year this was made, anyone know?) and a New Forest Tubby brush. The razor is perhaps the smoothest in my den, and the brush is super soft, but lacking some backbone IMO.

[Moved from October haul thread. Cuz' these are Novemberists!]

Speedy recovery to your daughter. She is in for soup and ice cream for a few days, I suppose.
