Are these all coming in one day at a time? Who's collection did you raid...lol? Very nice additions, and even better that they are providing great shaves.
Primo...you seem to be on an incredible roll with your recent razor acquisitions. Where are you finding these razors...they look brand new!! Do you have access to a time machine? A quick trip back in time to the 1940's and 50's...in and out of the drug store quickly so no one will notice you are from the future? How do you do it?
Tried my latest acquisitions with mixed results. 1) Really like the heavy Executive 2) Found the Aristocrat Jr to be initially aggressive on neck (most likely my technique) 3) Schick Krona, don't get the hype here, much to mild for my graying beard. Used Astra SP for all razor tests.
Next time you hop into the DeLorean let me know - I wanna tag along and pick up some NOS/NIB from [insert decade here]
Received a cased Gillette Slim Twist DeLuxe in great condition. A, to me, great score at $30-something dollars. It has a really nice weight to it as well with a lot of it towards the head of course. It's a TTO design that you open up by twisting on the ring at the top of the handle.
route 66 arrived 4 days over a holiday. outstanding. presentation outstanding scent incredible tomorrow I'll post about performance the aroma is sweet, but not by any standard overpowering.I'm still pondering what to use as aftershave to complement it.
Also arrived this week after having spent weeks and weeks on the slowboat - the James Bond 007 Wilkinson Protector. NIB Why is it golden you may ask? It's because this one was issued as a commemorative piece for the GoldEneye movie which places the razor at 1995.
