Yes, that was one of them. Had to try it, didn't I?! There are quite a few soaps that are described as smokey. One realizes that none of the others really are after trying MT Strong'n'Scottish. (Or the others only bring associations of smoke.) If you have ever had a sip (or whiff) of Ardbeg or Laphroaig or the like, you'll know what this soap smells like. The wool fat in there didn't really catch on either. In short: I'd split the two, keeping the whisky in a glass and a cleaner, less intense lanolin soap in my den. [Hmm, that is indeed the reality: Laphroaig Quarter Cask plus MWF ] The others I tried were Moroccan Rhassoul, Pots of Milk, Himalayan Heights and Indian Flavour. I liked Scottish and Himalayan the least; Pots of Milk the most, followed closely by Moroccan and then Indian. Also good, the samples come grated rather than in small tubs, which I find a lot easier to handle.
Thanks for the info. Been wanting to try them as they seem to have different recipes for their soaps which to me is unique. Haven't heard of the Black Beer going to have to check that one out.
Waiting on a boxed Kent T12 brush for about $40. I think it's a super badger knot and a larger one at that. This is the later version of the T12 which, supposedly, addressed the shedding issue the earlier version had. We shall see Sounded like a fair deal though.
Yeah, I'll be honest the look of the handle was a big part for getting it... That and I think this is a really big knot but will see when it arrives...
Jerry Seinfeld says the new USPS model should be, let UPS handle the packages and the Post Office should open and read my mail and tell me what it says by email.
If it is like the other 12 series it is something like a 30/31mm knot. Huge. I had the 8 series and that was a big knot at 26mm but for me too floppy. Don't know what the T12 will be like but the 26mm with high loft was more like my 30mm knots.
Were you one of the few who snagged one? You're in for a treat. Both cobras are game changers. The king is a big razor. I'm one of the few who enjoyed the shave of the cobras over the mongoose.
