today's shave was exceptional. every element was ideal. the lather was as close to perfect as I can imagine. it was thick and slick,a touch airier than yogurt. the scent is amazing, hard to pull your nose away from it. it's sweet, but not overpowering,a touch powder and a touch flower. my face feelssoft and smooth. I did tthree passes with the executive, great shave. finished with vetiver, but it wasn't quite as nice as the gent.
hope y'all did as well, doubt you could do better.

I really love the scent of this soap. I think I need the splash at some point, but Cologne Russe is a nice compliment.

Started with the Gem set up but it just didn't work.. This the third Blue Star blade I've used and they have disappointed so far. So I grab a Lord disposable that I got from who knows where. I hate to say it but it was a great shave, close smooth and comfortable. It also helped that the StJoL SC worked so much better today, a really really nice lather. I'm ready to go so y'all go enjoy your day.

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle-3rd day. 20 seconds to load the E-R Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. This is a very good soap. I loaded a new Gillette Silver Blue in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud.

Day 6 of shaving my Dads way. Bathroom has this great smell from the Maca Root cream sitting out in the mug. I may have to shave like this all the time, at least leave the cream in the mug. I'll use something different next week.

Whipped up a good bit of lather for a quick 2 pass shave. Finished with the WH, and then some Nivea. Rinsed the razor with the blade still in it, and hung it up to dry. I left the brush in the mug with the remaining cream and put it aside for tomorrow as my Mom said my Dad would do. The Feather blade on day 6 was still good, which is still a bit of surprise. I had to use a little more pressure than the no pressure technique I normally use, and got some burn. So one more day for the Feather will be it. Finished with some vintage Old Spice AS from 1956, Nice! Y'all have a good one.

I have a buddy that acquired a slim and a flare tip SS from a neighbor of his. He's been asking me about use and cleaning. He's done some cleaning to them but could be better. I'm going to help him clean them and give him an OS mug, pack of blades, brush, and already gave him some shave cream. I don't know who's more excited... Now to decide which brush I want to give up...

Great shave first time out with the TFS/TFS (they have a sense of humor eh?). I wasn't sure about the scent at first but it bloomed into a fresh and complex bouquet. The Black Mamba really shined with the Feather blade, very smooth and efficient this go. The weight and balance is impressive and comfortable. Also first use of the SMF after shave. There was no burn, nice fragrance and a smooth almost powdery feel to my skin when it dried. The T-I brush is a first class performer and I really enjoy the look of the desert wood.
