I'm getting close to that point. Or just hand loading it and not worrying about it. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll let you all know if I figure it out.
Here are pics of the Schick Type C2 I just purchased. Now to find a Type A...... It was nice of the seller to include pics of the working parts in action.
Yep that is a beauty. I have to wait a few months before i am allowed to make more purchases. When i do the C and A are on that list. Tom
Well the resto razor came in today, looking a little neglected. Has the spring but no blade carrier. You can see the bent safety bar. It doesn't look scratched up and under all the grime I'm hoping the plating is good. I'm going to get it soaking in the ultrasonic cleaner. Cheers!
Good luck with the cleanup. Also the snaps came in. I will get the sheaths finished up tonight. I will get them in the mail tomorrow. Tom
Ok so after struggling to sew the leather I finished 5 more sheaths. My sewing machine does not like leather I think they turned out ok nothing special, a lot better than nothing though. They are a nice snug fit. Mike I will get yours in the mail tomorrow. Now to go eat. Then a nice shower and shave. My reward to myself Tom
Darkbulb Pm me your address. I have 1 extra sheath. It is the first one I made. Not quite as good as the others I made. It has holes from where I removed the stitching to make the pocket larger. It will serve its purpose. That is if you are interested. Tom
According to the Schick ID site http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm There is a stirling silver version with a cap.......
