    November 13

Razor - Feather SS AC Pain Stick
    Blade - [IMG](5)
    (Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea

Friday the 13th - 13 days on the Feather SS, the only thing missing is a black cat crossing my path. Wouldn't have mattered. The automatic nature of this process continues. The only issue today was a slight grab at the latest cut still healing near my ear but again no blood or damage, just that feel of a slight bump. I'm holding the angle well across the entire shave finishing DFS on two passes. The thought occurred to try and improve it with a third pass today but hey, why mess with success at this point. Maybe over the weekend I can take it another step further. For right now I'm just happy at how natural it's feeling and how enjoyable the shave has become.

My only change up was to go back to Nivea for post shave. The alum is still out for an extra moisturizing at night but the Nivea felt good this morning. The alum is still a bit harsh at times, especially on some neck areas I'm buffing a bit to get the DFS, but Nivea took care of it and the irritation backed off nicely.

So, almost a full 50% through the month and all's well. Still have all my fingers, my nose, ears, etc. For me it's becoming almost TOO boring. Hope your weekend is great!

I do apologize, but I need a back-up for myself and for my son when he starts shaving. :lyrtuy5:

    SATURDAY
    Evening shave for Tomorrow
Out early tomorrow morning so tonight I get the pleasure of having a nice, wide-awake & leisurely-paced shave! M-Bombed the Route 66 soap for a frosty, citrusy lather which provided excellent glide for the Dubl duck. Three pass near-BBS results. Finished with 'more orange'— 'L'Orange Noir' from Fine Accoutrements.
    Have a great Saturday, all!

This was my first shave with my new custom brush - the JR #26 installed with a 24mm WD boar knot.
It is far from broken in yet, so it's a bit stiff and scratchy (and smelly), but I expect it to break in like every other boar.
Handle is great in my hand, really like the heft and size. Seems perfect. Thanks, Jim! @Jayaruh
Got a really nice DFS++ with this setup.

This shave, as I said to Omar was magnificent. Brian's Bay Rum soap has such THICK, wonderful lather which has that beautiful bay rum scent that I love so much and the post-shave feeling is great. His matching aftershave has that same scent with terrific skincare - no moisturizer is even necessary because the aftershave does the job perfectly! :happy088: :happy088:
