Hello all. Been a while since I posted. I actually had to ban myself from the shaveden. My wallet was getting lite and my cupboard was getting full. Well I am happy to report that I have found cupboard space so ordered two tubs of Geo F Trumper shaving cream. I went for what I am calling the wacky flavours. One tub of Rose and one tub of violet!
In my defenses one of the synthetics is my fiance's and one was passed on to me from my Grandpa. I won one in a PIF and I bought the WD. I think I'm going to try a 30mm WD and a horse before I decide what I like and what I need. I don't have a travel brush either.
Just checked the tracking number for my stand, brush, & bowl...it's out for delivery. I'll have something to play with tonight!
This Gillette Mix via Kijiji. Yet to date. I believe the 3 piece is a British Tech, if so just picked one up this past Sunday at a antique fair. The other is a bullet of some sort. I tired posting pics on another thread, but all I got was a little black box with an "x" in it. The link was from a "social media" site, if that matters. Hey, that worked! (Borrowed it from the interwebz.) Anyhoo, I modded it with some 1/16" stick-on cork (bowl & stand) because it was slippery as goose grease. Bowl stays put on the stand, and stand stays put on the countertop.
Seller on eBay must have stumbled upon a large old stock of these as these are all NIB, unopened ones; Each kit is one Schick + four cartridges He selling them in various quantity lots; 1 for $12 2 for $19.99 4 for $40 12 for $119 72 for $835 ( Me, I got one.
I am not a Cartridge Man but those just Ooze pure quality Sir...Probably the pinnacle of Cartridge Systems I would bet... Billy...
