    First straight razor shave this month, as I have been focusing on a CJB Shavette handle and a Tech DE. I really do enjoy the ritual of a straight shave. The only part that takes longer for me is the stropping, and that’s only a minute or so. I am absolutely loving this soap and aftershave balm, it smells like Jasmine.

    Today has been a singularly spectacular day for gorgeous razors! I'll try not to detract! Fon Golden Star Deluxe.

    Every once in a while, I start thinking, "I'm old, too fat, and I'm getting soft. I haven't heard a shot fired in anger, dug a defensive fighting position, rigged a Destroyer for towing, wrestled any alligators, or gargled nitroglycerin in years. I need to harden up."

    When this happens, I pull my 12/8's Snail Forge BrunoBlade out for some good, clean, dangerous shaving fun. These were some of the first straights Bruno made for sale and were sold as heat treated blanks for the purchaser to shape, smooth out, polish, sharpen, and scale. Requires your full attention. Rejuvenates the past-prime Lothario, and restores vim and vigor.

    Mike, it is my opinion that the use of this razor essentially validates the 'Man Card' you have been carrying in your designer cosmetic bag studded-leather wallet!
    Awesome-looking razor! :happy088::kar:

    Caties Tactical Support soap
    Caties tactical support AS
    FS 28 mm extra dense silvertip - what a nice soft feel this brush has - these Franks shaving extra dense silvertips are the bomb

    5/8 Bismarck Razor Works
    MeiBner Tremonia/Rhassoul
    homemade brush/ Edwin Jagger pure knot
    This is the knot that got me interested in pure badger hair. I ordered another Shavemac pure knot earlier in the week in the bulb style. I actually enjoy this little brush. The hairs are coarser but not prickly at all. It's not well packed with hair but I like the feel of the knot on my face. I'd consider the Bismarck razor a working mans type , nothing fancy but well made and a good shaver that takes a good edge. If I can find it I'll use my bone handled Bismarck tomorrow. Have a good one.

    Must be the wide angle lens. Probably a 4/8. Seriously though, that must be awkward to hold. I wish I had a George Britain that size.
