Another day planned with the NoVember kit. I'm planning Floid Blue post shave (aftershave, edt)

Im also amazed at how close yet irritation free the Gillette TTO black tips are.

 

SOTD:
I was feeling a bit like the pipes this morning after reading stories from Scotland and around the world.
Tins are used to store blades, I no longer drink .

 

Good Morning Fellow Shavers, here's today's SOTD line up-

Early 1940's unissued Contract Tech.
Shark Super Chrome blade.
Simpsons Wee Scot brush.
WSP Rustic Shaving Soaps "Barbershop" shaving soap.
Nivea ASB.
Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve AS Splash.
Calvin Kleins Escape cologne.

I can see why the U.S. Military chose to use Gillette to provide the soldiers and sailors with shaving tools. This old Contract Tech really works well. I am the first person to ever use this old razor, when I got it, it was sealed up in its shipper from water damage, and I could tell from the way it was packaged that it had never been issued. It is one of the early ones with triangular lather slots. The base plate is also steel, and was rusted considerably when I got it. But it cleaned up well, and works great! Here's the photo-

The VDH always lathers nice with the boar brush.

Great Barbershop Shave
The Colonel made quick work of the MLB, setting my whiskers up for their fate at the hands of der Futur. Smooth and easy and a scent that reminds me of visiting the barbershop with my Dad when I was a kid.

today's shave was great. all elements kicking. the jungle is a suave masculine scent. you just want to wrap up in it. it's plain off the chain. three passes with the fatboy I'm super smooth and completely comfy. finished with vanilla clubman.
hope y'all did as well, or better, your a dandy if you do.

 

Same blade 19 shaves? Do you even have facial hair hahaha =P

 

Norway sure has a terrific artisan - the Brutalt Bra soap lathers so easily with great blade glide and a nice post-shave feeling. Too bad I couldn't smell the Krampert's Bay Rum aftershave because of my cold, but it felt wonderful. Today's shave was awesome!

Thanks to my good friend Omar @Omelmad I got interested in Cella.
Today I recieved it after many internal battles over whether I should succumb or not.
I got a wonderful lather! I understand the hype now!
But that tub is small... quite finicky to get the large 24mm WD loaded!
I'm back at ATG passes, but only where it works. I have two spots on my lower neck that I reserve for XTG tops. Facial maps work
Finished off with my mentholated tea tree splash for a great after shave feeling and a DFS+++​

 

Perhaps not anymore, it's been torn out by the sack... lol

 

SOTD for Friday Nov 20th.......

BebeLush Peppermint, Orange & Pine face lathered w/Semogue 1438 Boar
Black Handle Super Speed w/7 o'clock Sharp Edge
Witch Hazel rinse & Nivea Sensitive Balm. Finishing w/Clubman Vanilla

2-passes for a DFS! (I got at least 10 excellent shaves w/the Sharp Edge blade. It could probably go a few more but don't want to push it)

The usual two pass delight with the Mongoose ended in a Super Close BBS shave almost everywhere. No AGT under the nose. Finished with a nice splash of Gondolier Aftershave, what a great scent! I hope everyone had a great shave today. Have a good weekend folks.
