That's not bad, it was 15 days from order to my door for me. With the huge savings I'll wait the extra time. They offer a 10% discount on your next purchase. :happy088::happy088::happy088:

    Nov 21 Focus shave 21

Valobra has been performing better and better since I discovered how to best lather it. It works best for me when using a soft brush with good flow through, originally I thought a brush with allot of backbone would be a good match. I was wrong. Valobra has yet to be put the SR test so today is the day.

With all the Funkadelic on the 'focus' today I was up for the down stroke.

It Saturday so I can shave late and take my time. Yesterday's shave was not close so with the extra time to grow some stubble I had a good amount of stubble for a shave. Today my Dovo Bismarck was next in the rotation, a little crox paste and some stropping and off to the shave. I made lots lather and it was very wet again today, great for the shave but dripping everywhere. The first passes seemed to just glide also the third and fourth passes seemed to go smoothly.

I applied the alum and was surprised there was just a little irritation, not much but I expected zero given how smooth the shave felt. Closeness, BBS, this only the fourth time with a SR I achieved BBS. All in all an excellent shave.

    Irritation A-, closeness A

My Russian blades (Rapira Super Stainless) just arrived from Turkey today. Only took them 28 days to get here. But I saved a whole $5.25! :happy093:

That's not worth it. I'm talking buying Myrsol at 2 bottles for the price you'd pay for 1 at any US online retailers.

Razor - Feather SS AC Pain Stick
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea

Two thirds of the way through the November Rule No Variation November and all's well. I did a single pass this morning due to a meeting that normally doesn't happen on Fridays. So one pass to a CCS and off I went. One pass really isn't an issue anymore. The only downside is the CCS finish but today I didn't care. Alum was very quiet with only one pass so I threw on the Veg afterward as well. Mmmmmmmmm good. Here's to the start of the weekend!

It's great to hear you guys enjoying the Goose. I shaved with it exclusively for the better part of 1 year and while I had some great shaves, I ended up giving it up.

I just couldn't get over the design of the top cap. To me, it was unnecessarily large and cumbersome. Sometimes, I felt like I was trying to backup an 18 wheeler if I had to turn the razor at an odd angle. I hated giving it up because I love an SE shaver (Cobra and King Cobra are great).

I don't mind a challenge. Some say my nose was made for the grindstone...so I'll keep working at finding my happy place with the Mongoose. Maybe even giving it as long as you did, though I've never driven an 18 wheeler!

I don't mind working hard to find satisfaction. Wisdom is knowing when to finally walk away. But in the end, life's short...I'll move on if I need to, knowing I gave it a solid effort.

I appreciate the solidarity Clint! I'm glad you've got lathering Mystic Water Lime down pat. I'm already benefiting from your advice. I'm sorry to hear about your cut. Hopefully it won't cause a problem during your next shave.
