Razor: Gillette Fatboy Adjustable w/case (7)
    Blade: Feather Platinum (6)
Brush: WDC-1 (Grandfather's) Black Badger Wood Handle (Whipped Dog) 20/65
    Soap: KnockOut Cool Blue
    A/S: Myrsol F/Extra
    TSD M Bomb

I pulled out some old tools today and played a few tunes after listening to, "What are you listening to" :happy108:. Forgot how much I enjoyed playing the Harps. Anyway, this is a excellent shave combination. The KnockOut Cool Blue is very easy to lather and remains very slick. The Grandfathers Black Badger loaded enough lather for 3 passes and more if I needed. Myrsol F/Extra is also a very good aftershave. All in all a BBS. Will follow some SOTD posts to get an idea of what to shave with next week. Tomorrow is Shave Den Sunday so this is another decision I'll have to make. Have a great Saturday night.

TKO ! Great gear shave and music. How do you like the Dean Markley Bronze strings ? I have two pairs of the Blues strings. They are thick, 12's I believe. My Casino is the only one they will fit.

I don't play guitar. A guitar play stuck that on after he re strung his axe. I played harmonica and drums. There are enough guitar players. :)

Not many will commit to the drums, the sheet music looks like Egyptian hieroglyphs and you have a ton of equipment to haul with you.
Must be the reason for the harmonica. Not sure of the sheet music but it is small and light.

I did my share of hauling around gear that's for sure. Harmonica is great for sitting around a kitchen table and jamming. You can also play both at the same time. Fun, fun, fun, sometimes to much fun. :)

    SHAVE OF THE DAY SATURDAY
    sotd89.jpg

    RAZOR: GILLETTE BALL END TECH
    BLADE: RAINBOW (4TH SHAVE)
    BRUSH: OMEGA S SYNTHETIC
    SOAP: B&M VETYVER SANTAL
    POST: BARBASOL PACIFIC RUSH

Had a great 2 pass shave this morning. I had to take a day off since the last shave tore my face up pretty good. The scent of Vetyver Santal is a nice lemon take on vetyver and was a very refreshing scent to wake me up this morning. The Omega brush is always easy to make a decent lather and is a very good inexpensive brush. Picked up some Barbasol Pacific Rush from the dollar store yesterday. Also got some Brisk as well, figured I would give it a try since it was around $3 for both. The wife really liked the scent of Pacific Rush and I do too. It has a nice clean citrusy type of scent, and has a touch of menthol as well. Hope everyone has a great Saturday and a great shave!

    NOVember - NO Variation

    November 21

Saturday and the boss bought us all breakfast today before we started. So, an hour early start to the day and it was snowing when I got up. Not sticking to the ground, more like blowing by horizontally. Yeah, shaving takes energy and I'm not really ready to move, kind of a lazy start so let's just say we shaved and don't. These Saturday skip days are getting to be a habit. Hope your weather was better than ours today!

Ok guys, here are my choices for my Sunday morning shave:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
Edwin Jagger Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Once again I had a hard time to decide which stuff to select as a set-up, but I finally chose what I think would be right. The Edwin Jagger Menthol cream is a great latherer with a scent which I'll admit is a bit too flowery for me, but it's still fairly pleasant. Its menthol effect is at a medium strength and quite enjoyable. This cream also has a good post-shave feeling. It's been some time which I haven't used my Gold Bond moisturizer, so I'll go with it and finally the Aqua Velva for a good menthol punch to end a nice shave! ;) :D
