Seth The thanks goes to Roger and Mike. A couple of very generous guys. We need more people like them. Thanks guys Tom
I'm about to go out to the post office as well. I have 7 schick blades in the injector and 8 or 9 Personna brand blades in the injector that I'll be sending out towards @pvtbanks. I've got the address and I'll post tracking when I get home.
Funny i noticed that too. Quite the reply. If anybody here won that please post pictures when you receive it. Quite a rare one.
do all the repeaters take/ use the same blades? are y'all reloading magazines with fresh new blades? are blades usable in their new condition, our do they need to be modified? love the silver b's and the gold c's. man I want one of those. I need to quit watching this thread.
They take the new style blade just fine. As Billy had stated before all you may have to do is bend the spring a bit more closed. The new blades are thinner than the old style the injectors were designed around. My razors both cycle blades. That being said i will only hand load in the future. I only have a few shaves on 1 of mine and it did a good job. Way different head angle. They are way cool old razors that shave well and are precision pieces of equipment. I say get one if you can. Tom
I have a tube of original blades they are much thicker and they have no holes in the blade either. They were rattled around for the last 85 years in a metal tube so I wont be shaving with them anytime soon. You can see the dull spots on the blades when the light hits them.
I most likely will. but I have so many now, and money slows me down. I have a large family, seventeen grandkids (Christmas time is tight). I'll just drool at yours for now.
Yes i agree. I got both of mine for a little more $65 total. I will be patient and hopefully find a C and A. For a decent price.
I'm thinking this thread might be having an effect on the prices a lot of interest here! A couple years ago I didn't even know you could actually use them to shave with!
Ok that sounds reasonable. So what i need from everybody is to not look for them for a month or so. No bidding on ebay or the likes. That way i can score a C and an A for cheap. I will let you know when you can start bidding again This sounds very reasonable to me.
Things comes and goes in 'waves'...one month it's the Rubberset 400 brushes...one it's Gillette Rockets..and one it's repeating razors. If possible one should be one of the first hopping on the new trend...or getting in when people have moved on to something else
There was a trend there with folks form here buying up PAL Injectomatics...I don't think there is one left on Worldwide Flea - Market... Billy..
