In keeping with the general of this thread...I think. I present you with my most recently purchased gift for my wife :love055: (Not calling her SWMBO, even though she must...well, you know.) She's never used an injector, but she's pretty good at tossing around a Fat Handle Tech that I had replated for her.

    If she doesn't like it...it's up for sale...unless I like it?

Thanks. This is a really clean razor. I showed it to the boss and she said "What's that?". I explained and she said "It's pretty!". So...I think she likes it.

Seeing your post with the Pal adjustable reminded me that I haven't used mine for awhile. Just took it out and used it for a fine BBS shave. When I first purchased this razor a few years ago, initially I didn't think it worked well, and didn't care for it. After a brief learning curve, it shaves fantastically. The key, is that the best angle for an efficient shave is different than most other razors.

When you get yours, note that the difference in the head angle is different than most other razors. The best way to start learning the proper angle, is to place the razor on your forearm with the top of the razor flat to the skin, and then gradually lower the razor to where the bar and blade contact the skin. That angle, with a few degrees of angle adjustments either way for your personal taste, is the correct angle. Too steep an angle, and it will cut, but not well, too shallow an angle and it won't cut at all.

The effective shave angle range for this razor is relatively narrow, and most won't spend the time to learn the nuances of the razor, immediately branding it "not a good shaver." That's initially what I thought, until I actually spent some time with it, and discovered that it is highly efficient and very smooth with Schick blade. In the high setting it's fairly aggressive, at the low setting it's still effective and very smooth. It's my favorite injector razor of the dozen or so in my injector collection.
You're going to love the Pal adjustable!

Ive used it every day in November and can say it is a fine razor. Load it with a Chick blade and it rivals any of my 30+ razors.

I think your 30+ Harem needs a little pictorial documentation.....I think all you guys need to show off these prettys and not keep them locked up.....

I think everyone who has a camera should post a pic of at least one or two of their favorites from their stable and copy or link to one or two of your favorites from our Party Archives....

We have Thanksgiving coming up...Show us which razors you are thankful for.......

I'm also going to start picking pics and articles that I'm thankful for that pertain to our common interest right here....
There are too many so I'm picking things that have knocked me out at random

@Billyfergie, I think you should move these pics ovah heeyah...so we can find them easier in the future....This was a grand article...And as our Resident Injector Historian I expect this kind of excellence...

So I finished cleaning/sanitizing the lot of injectors that purchased on eBay. The Pal Adjustable actually cleaned up pretty well with some elbow grease. This one even has the tension spring in tact for the adjuster!

Interestingly, this one has a smaller bevel on the head to the blade. Also, the blade gap is noticeably larger than the other Pal I have. Doing a quick dry arm hair shave test with it felt different/better than my first Pal. It seemed smoother and easier to find the cutting angle. I'm going to shave with it head to head with my other Pal and I will let you know how it goes.

I wonder if ASR reengineered the head because they were having problems with the first gen? I can get a shave with the first Pal, but even with a Chick it feels a bit rough. I'm cautiously optimistic that this version may be smoother for me. Be back in a few!

Here are some pics of the two Pals I own. The one I just got is on the right. Note the bevel length and blade gap differences. Also, the new one seems slightly smaller in size overall than the old.
