A very cool refreshing shave this afternoon. The Gillette Menthol and Lucky Tiger Disappearing Cream worked wonders for today's shave.

Today i had a hot shower as usual and then my shave.

Barbasol
Gillette fatboy
Personna blade
Every man jack lotion

Went WTG and then XTG then ATG on my face only. No neck irritation again (which is nice) BUT now I've been itching like crazy today. This is firsttime ive been itchy like this.

Anyone have any advice on this? Should i relotion my face whenit gets itchy like this? Is it because my face dries out and causes it?

 

Could it be the Every man jack lotion that's causing the irritation? Try not using it tomorrow and see what happens.

 

What would you recommend that i can pick up at a cvs/walgreens/walmart etc? Im outof town so ill need to pick up something diferent.

 

A real safe bet would be Nivea.

 

I know that the Every Man Jack lotion stings a bit on my face usually also. Leave my face feeling silky smooth but does sting for a few minutes.

Yeah im ok with the stinging but this itching is driving me crazy haha.

Yet another great shave with a vintage Gillette razor.
The Lord blade paired well with the old type oc.
I bought the Pacific Rush a/s for a $1.75 in the Dollar General
I like the scent and the cooling effect it has.
All in all a great BBS shave!!

A second vote for Nivea. They make a sensitive skin version of the balm that would be good to use.

What kind of a crazy fool would use such a bitterly-cold soap on such a frigid morning, followed by a mentholated balm and then such a ludicrously hyper-mentholated aftershave splash? Jeff, aka Crackstar! (Guys, seriously - this set-up is not for the faint of heart. The Glacial Obsidian is a soap which delivers a POWERFUL menthol punch with great skincare. The Lucky Tiger is nice stuff!) I'll say this - as far as I know, there are no other aftershaves which are able to match the Arctique when it comes to freezing someone's face off!
