1. They're unimpressive but OK on a Trac II handle, never tried them on an Atra handle. I think they are cheaper than that at west Coast shaving.

  2. Yeah I found a great deal at Amazon where you get 20 for less than $8.
    I feel so.....used....

  3. I really like these Personna blades and use them for my Trac II and Atra handles. I have 200 on hand :)

  4. $17 bucks later these arrived - NIB/NOS Atra razor and 30-31 cartridges.
Still debating if I should keep the box unopened (it's sealed) or break it open :D

  6. I believe that you should use your purchases (unless if very rare).

  7. Nice Picture. I hate to say this, but I am not a fan of Fusion (orange) cartridges at all. For me, the proglide is the best. :)

  8. Leave it in the box, I would say.

  10. Haha ... no, I really meant to keep it "as is". There are enough regular protectors to be found without the 007 reference, so I would keep this one mint.

  11. Finally received it today :)

In like-new condition, great weight to it and feels super comfortable.

  12. Great pictures and a great razor :) . What is that one top of the cartridge? A push button?

  13. I still have my Trac-II for travel and emergency exits. I think it's still the best cart razor out there. It got me thru high school, bootcamp and 35 years of marriage.
  14. It's a button connected to a piece of plastic between the blades that pushes out debris. Not a bad idea, but no real substitute for proper venting - a design element that seems to elude most Trac II knockoff manufacturers, even good ones like Merkur (whose cartridge this appears to be).

  15. Exactly what I was wondering. Gillette never has used a push button design for their trac-II carts.

  16. They don't need to, because they got the design right the first time.

  17. Agreed. Safe and easy loading combined with a stable fit and no 'moving' parts. Very good design for a shaving implement.

  18. Added another vintage cartridge razor to the stable.
Now waiting on this Wilkinson T70 model.

  20. Sorry - early bird and all that. :)
Yeah, I bought it w/in one minute of seeing it popping up...first I've seen this year....
