Some of you may have noticed I haven't been around much and this is why. June 6th 2014 my mother passed away at the age of 78 as she lost her fight with cancer. On July 12th 2014 I had a stroke due to a blood clot in my lower right brain stem that completely paralyzed my left side. What makes matters worse I was completely left side dominant. So I had to learn to do everything in life over again. 2 inches separated life and death. But I'm here and I'm alive.

Sorry to hear about your mother and your stroke, Hank! But glad to hear you're on the mend and that you're around again! Is the damage permanent (hope not!) or are you regaining control of your left side?
Hank, I know what you're going through with the loss of your mother... but I have no clue as to how it must be to survive a stroke. God bless you, Hank. I hope He heals you completely. Welcome back.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. We're never ready for our parents to go. I'm sorry for your trials associated with your stroke, but glad you're recovering. I'll pray for a continued recovery for you.
