Is it sad that I'm a lefty and never knew they made left handed watches? But before cell phones when I wore watches I never wore them on my right hand anyway.
I've worn watches on my right arm since childhood and have a little bit of a watch fetish. My watch AD is left handed watches. There is quite a few out there if you search a little.
Popular belief has it that if you're right handed you are more active with that hand and arm and it increases the risk of accidentally damage your watch if it's on your dominant arm.
Probably less chance of degloving injuries as well. Don't know what degloving injury is ? Good! Don't Google it!
1987 Citizen. It's about all I wear anymore, now that I found a really comfy band. Some say a metal/black dive watch should be paired only with a black or matching metal band. I say nuts to that. I added the head of a straight pin at the 12 o'clock indicator on the bezel...much nicer looking than the printed black circle it came with. And it matches. Still need to get that scratch off the crystal someday.
I bought it with a gift certificate. I collect left handed watches and did not have a gray one. Liked it and bought it. I was not familiar with the brand but it seems to be well made. Time will tell
