Some new finds... I've been thinking, how would a spoon display work for razors? Quite well I believe. Just need to dremel out the notches some for the larger handles. Also, the old spice mug is shorter than my other one I believe and I don't remember Old Spice being so promenant on the bottom. The tall vase looking thing with holes in the bottom was advertised as a brush holder. I got it since it was cheap and looked nice, and unique. Same for the scuttle, it was cheap and cool looking. Not sure what the logo on the bottom of it is though. And of course the Old Spice Stein and AS lotion bottle.
Great idea. I think i will head over to my parents house tomorrow and shall we say liberate her spoon racks i am sure the racks would really like a change of scenery. But seriously that is an awesome idea. You will be able to hold a mess of razors and have easy access to them. But most of all proudly display them. Tom
Man that is weird because I was thinking about the whole spoon rack idea on this morning drive in, or a multi toothbrush rack. The spoon collection rack would look right. Let me know how that works out.
Thank you. The wife and I got this idea a few weeks ago. This is the biggest one I've seen and was the cheapest. $20. Usually they are about 3 rows, maybe 4, and about half the size. The razors will have to be spaced every other slot but this one will still hold 25 razors.
Bought this nice type D! Cased and in good condition. Sellers pic, I'll put some more up when it gets here.
Great question - it's actually my first fan as I normally tend to gravitate towards the bulb shaped knots. I think it's 50% 'looks' and 50% perceived/actual difference. Some people feel that the fan shaped knots are better for face lathering but, at the same time, a fan knot can have less backbone than a bulb knot (which is why you often see fan knots set a tad deeper to try to mitigate that). Here's a good article on the topic.
The population of Repeatertown went up again today. This fine C2 specimen arrived from Serbia of all places and in less time than my C1 coming from the US. The seller threw in a pack of Dutch injector blades.
Im officially admitting to having a problem. This Simpson brush arrived in the mail today and I could not recall buying it. I had to look through my Paypal summary to find the purchase.
Ah, love #35. If I were to get a Simpson I'd get the Chubby II in Best badger as well. Do you think you'd remember sending it to me?
It was, yet again, listed as a Shick. I swear I see so many of them. That's how I got a repeater on the cheap.
