  2. So I was wondering about your technique with the razor, what sort of angle if any do you use it seems to work well for you.

The Angle is different from later Injectors...These Schick Repeater instructions are about correct..;)

That cleaned up Fantastic. It looks like it was never abused. You have a keeper. The wife and the razor.

  5. The C seems to be a little different but in general I'm just going by the feel with all of them A B Or C. I'm getting nice shaves with no problems.
  6. The Baking soda and water in foil did most of it for me.

So this is the first time shaving with this B2. I had 2 previous shaves on my B1. As I had a fantastic shave last night with my E2 I did not have a lot to shave off tonight.
My first pass tonight was not my normal WTG. I instead opted for XTG as my growth was on the short side. The angle on these Repeaters are more square to your face than I am used to. I took my time to really get the right angle. It worked out fine. I got very nice feedback. This B2 really glides over your face. I had zero tugging and nice removal. I rinsed off and found that it pretty much reduced it to what a normal second pass would leave. I will tend to mark this up to the XTG and shorter stubble.

My second and final pass was ATG. this went well. The only area that tugged at all (very slight ) was on my upper lip. Rinsed off and felt around. I could feel no stubble on my face at all. The only area was my Adams apple and a tiny bit under my jaw. As my face was well lubricated still, Gust moistened it a bit and did a cleanup. This resulted in a DFS +. could not give BBS as the neck area was not as good as the rest.

Over all this is a very efficient and smooth razor for me. It will take some getting used to the strange angle. But what the heck it is a nice problem to have.

For SRROC Members. I really like this one. Tomorrow I will give my B1 a spin. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have received my C2 and I can give that a go.

  9. VERY nice!
I would actually prefer to clean it myself. I've seen razors that have been 'cleaned' by people using steel wool that meant very well.....

  16. I've found with my C3, that those directions that Billy put up is right on the money with what I've been doing....The head is flat and the handle at a right angle....It's definitely no hoe....Which is funny because Schick Injectors are kind of the most famous hoes.....But the heavy square body of the C series makes it really easy to maintain that angle....I love mine...

How are you getting on with yours...?

  18. Is there any way that this picture can be labeled with model types and put as a sticky at the top of the page to help with model identification? Having a visual to help identify the different types would be more helpful than the descriptions at the safety razor.net website.

  19. Second shave with the C3! I'm dialed in and this razor is smooth and DFS after 2 passes on a workday. Any razor that can be used in real world conditions gets the thumbs up from me! Tomorrow the C2 makes its trial run, I don't expect to see much difference between the two but we'll see image.jpeg

  20. Second shave with a type C, this time with the open comb version C1. Three effortless passes resulted in a respectable DFS. I think I preferred the C1 today as it seemed more efficient.
