Uhh Ohhhhh! Look who just blew in from the Great White North.... She posed for a few publicity photos on her way to the Shave Cave... Face Off as she tried to enter the shave cave..... Once in her corner waiting for the bell...
Well....The Main Event went down pretty painlessly and quickly....After the first pass (round) it was evident how this was going to end.... Old Spanner on left.............................................................................Schick Buster on right.... The Old Spanner will always be welcomed back to the Shave Cave as soon as he returns from being "Blown out the Window "!!!.....ha,ha,ha... Stroke by Stroke details to soon follow......Stay tuned!
You didn't waste any time did you? Maybe a Feather in the E2 will put the old champ back into form? Then again, stay away from the H if you want to avoid seeing the E2 slip further down the list of close shavers. Looking forward to that stroke by stroke account!
Lets see....how can I discribe how this when down.... The E2 has always been the most aggressive razor in my collection.....Although more aggressive, it's also a little smoother than my G type....But not as smooth as my ER's 1914 and 1924.... Well this PAL, right off the bat surprised me with how you don't feel the blade's edge on your skin...The E2 feels a little like a straight, because you do feel the blade's edge...Now you would think that that would give the Schick the edge, because we like feed-back...But no...In this case, the PAL glided effortlessly, and might be the smoothest razor I've ever seen... After the first pass, the PAL side was BBS (just needed touch up on neck) and absolutely irritation free.....the E2 side was DFS and needed another pass to be where the right side already was....And was not irritation free....In fact....whats that under the left jaw bone and on the left corner of the mustache area ? Ohh noo, yes shave fans, the E2 has already left a couple very small signature Weepers...but weepers none the less on the first pass.....tsk, tsk tsk... There has been a judge's decision....Because, the right side is already 90% BBS and irritation free...The shave has been given to the challenger PAL...The fans go wild! I didn't expect such a fast decision.... So I relathered and made a second pass and touch-up which brought both sides up to a phenominal smooth irritation free shave.....The PAL did live up to all the hype... She glided in a fashion that gives new meaning to the word 'smooth'....The is very little feedback...It's more like you are squeegying off the lather....and you have to check to see if there is in fact a blade in the razor or not! But after one pass it is as close as a str8 pass...The Schick Buster has arrived!!
I don't know Why......But the PAL Injectomatic & Chinese Schick Blade Combo is just a Match made in Heaven...It just such as Awesome Whisker Whacking Shaving Combo.. Billy..
I couldn't really finish my review....I got called away......But you guys get the point.... Billy is right....That is a combo made in Heaven..... Hodge, I can't tell you how far this has exceeded what I had hoped for SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT !! I wanted to thank our Hodge/Roger for piffing me this lovely razor....It was such a thoughtful gesture....You are a friend, a gentleman, and a scholar.....}8^)) Just in....My wife and I have a thing where she rates my shaves on a scale of 1 tp 5....and she's sooo tough! I'll get such an aggressive BBS that I'm bleeding and she'll feel it and say, 'Hmmm I guess a 4.76...' She's tough I tell ya.....But she wasn't here when I shaved today or wrote that report, but a little while ago she checked it and said, " I believe this might be a 5!"....Thats the first time, see has ever mentioned a 5! So the Schick Buster title stands....Billy pulled the Mighty Mouse Card again....and that always is about as strong as it gets....
