Some reboots, remakes and TV inspired films work - Most don't. CHiPs is currently in production, Hollywood is bankrupt with ideas.
Just watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It is a really brilliant film. Not what I expected at all.
Watched "John dies at the end". I really wanted to like it as it was recommended to me by a friend but I got real bored about 25 mins into it and then semi-watched the rest of it whilst doing other stuff. Check out the trailer below....I think maybe I should re-watch smoking some medicinals...
I feel as if I enjoyed this movie more than I should have...I mean the plot was a mess and the two leading roles were held by Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.. It was a fun watch for the action scenes and the good looking Sci-Fi....and Mila...
I'm glad you liked it. I just got annoyed by Mila Kunis' character just seems so useless. She just keeps getting herself into stupid situations and waits to be rescued. Apart from that it was OK.
Tried watching "Momentum" but it was so terrible I didn't make it past the first 15 minutes. Olga Kurylenko is very attractive..but unfortunately a terrible actress.
Really need to pick better movies...this was another complete dud. Robert De Niro was great but was also in the movie about 10 minutes - the rest was a flat, predictable heist story with mediocre acting. A weak 4/10.
Going to see Spectre tomorrow. I wanted to see Creed or wait for Star Wars but SWMBO wants to see the new Bond film. Probably because of Daniel bloody Craig.
I really need to pick better movies...third 'dud' in a row. Not quite as bad as the previous two but I had a fair bit of expectations for this one considering the rather stellar cast. Turned out to be lukewarm comedy with a predictable, slow-moving plot. A soft 5/10.
