I think I will just stick with warm showers!

No thanks, I've taken cold showers, it's NO fun! The best part of a cold shower is getting out! I certainly don't think all the shivering gets me any cleaner. :happy097:

It's mandatory when the power goes out. But it does prepare me for trying the Ice Bucket Challenge sometime!!

I'd love to visit that area sometime in life.

That's why the Ice-Bucket Challenge is a "short shower".

I spend the better part of 10 years showering in cold water and loved it. I now shower semi-warm most days but about 1/5 showers is around 10 degrees Celsius

I nearly always rinse my head with cold water before getting out. In the AZ summers, I'll do my full rinse with cold.

I remember when the hot water would go off during my prep school years-a bunch of us would be in our showers and simultaneously shivering...it was like we all needed help, BAD.

I'm in love with my water heater and I seriously dislike cold water except to drink. So not me thanks!

I actually love taking cold showers. I never knew it was a challenge.

If you want a cold shower here, just stand outside.

    Not for me, thanks.

I was in southern Utah in late March of this year-the dry heat was better than the humidity I've been too used to, but still....spent lots of time slurping water.

I experienced that exact same thing in Venezuela. Puerto Rico as well.

Both. It was really cold too. You froze in the shower and then sweated right after.

I've been a fan of the "Scottish Shower" for years. I have some issues with eczema and generally itchy skin, so really hot showers don't treat me well, regardless. Now, it's a habit that's definitely helped make me more of a "morning person".
I can't handle dropped the hot water out completely, but gradually decreasing the temp over my head, shoulders and back before I shut off the shower puts a little extra pep in my step and seems to help with the itchy skin.
