The idea of a twin blade is cool and all and I have tried it but really how much closer can you get? A chick blade always gives a smooth close shave?

I found the lighter handle works much better than the big heavy one. I had the dub legend handle and sold it of with the b1 .

It's good to have choices! But if you really want the answer to your question you have to experience the Mighty PAL Injecto Matic with a Schick blade. Amazing. It is the standard for sure. :happy088:

So another F type sold on eBay for $144.50! Looked fairly average not cased or anything. I'm not adverse to spending on a razor but that seems a bit much....

I was watching that one. It was at $77 for a long time. I will have to find one in the wild.

Well...All I can say is...Chick blades are fine...That said..A Chick blade in a Repeater wont look anywhere near the smoothness of a Twin blade...Cant like their Boots...Its got to be experienced...:)

there have been a bunch of great razors used lately, injectors, repeaters, cobras, and mongooses. I thought I'd add this old timer to the single edge party.

    Lady Eversharp Beauty Razor..:p

    Three Pass Shaving Routine..

Hot Water prep & massage with Coconut Oil
    Lady Eversharp Beauty Razor
NOS Schick Krona Injector Injector Blades (New)
    Semogue Boar Brush
Proraso Shaving Soap (added Argan oil)
    Organic Aloe Vera Gel
    Hattric Aftershave Splash (From Germany)

I had a shave with my Lady Eversharp Beauty Razor today with an NOS Schick Krona blade...I was using Proraso Shaving Soap for the 2nd time & I am not impressed with it to say the least...It has very little cushion & glide for me thus far...It just ain slick...I will add more Argan Oil as it sure as hell needs it...:angry032:....This Lady Eversharp Beauty Razor is Very Rare..It is the Type K 3 with a short handle & comes in a Compact Case...The longer handled Type K 2 is very common...I got 2 of these Lady Eversharp Beauty Razors in the same sale...It has the HydroMagic lever Function and is a lovely shaver with NOS blades...This injector is just crazy mild for me with a Chick blade...Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed....Good Karma..:)

I just Love the Compact Case...:rah:

I love the twin blades in my Schick Type O. This combined with a block of original Klar Kabinett might just be shaving nirvana for me.

    A Shave to remember
    [IMG]

Ok I have only been taking wet shaving seriously for 3 months now. That being said I just finished with my most memorable shave to date. It is not the closest shave but my best shave. I hope you understand. Above you see my choices for the night. I had 2 days growth.

This is my first time shaving with my new to me Type C2. I loaded it with a Chick. I chose the AOS Cream as I used it all of last month and I have whipping up really nice lather down pretty well. As for my brush I chose the Boar WD mounted to my 3D brush. I believe I really prefer Boar over my others. It just feels right on my face. My after shave of choice tonight was a gift from my secret santa.

    On to the shave.

As my usual I take a nice hot shower and wash my face with Dove bar soap. I will leave out all other showering aspects. I do 1 final wash and leave the soap on for a minute then since it off.

I whipped up a very nice creamy lather and massaged it into my face. It feels so good so I lathered longer than usual. Grabbed my razor and off I want WTG. I found the angle right away. I knew by the sound not loud but I could feel it in my ears. Today Instead of no pressure I applied light pressure like I have done on my G1. I could see from the first pass that I had excellent reduction without having to feel. I checked it out anyways to see where I needed to concentrate on more. As usual i had a bit more under my jaw.

Regathered for second pass XTG. Same procedure some pressure and i went with short strokes maybe 1" length. I could hear my razor sing now. I wet my hands and checked my face. A true DFS at this point. As I do a 3 pass shave on to the third.

Lathered one last time and went ATG. Everything went smooth as silk. I wet my hands and checked for any leftover stubble. A tiny bit under my left side jaw. A few short strokes no lather added and it was gone. Added my AS and I feel GREAT.

I only have had a closer shave with my PAL. But tonights shave has been my most enjoyable and rewarding shave to date. Everything just fell into place. If I am able to continue to get this great of shaves with my C2 it will be in my top 3 razors to shave with only behind my PAL and E2.
