    A Shave to remember
    [IMG]
Ok I have only been taking wet shaving seriously for 3 months now. That being said I just finished with my most memorable shave to date. It is not the closest shave but my best shave. I hope you understand. Above you see my choices for the night. I had 2 days growth.

This is my first time shaving with my new to me Type C2. I loaded it with a Chick. I chose the AOS Cream as I used it all of last month and I have whipping up really nice lather down pretty well. As for my brush I chose the Boar WD mounted to my 3D brush. I believe I really prefer Boar over my others. It just feels right on my face. My after shave of choice tonight was a gift from my secret santa.

    On to the shave.

As my usual I take a nice hot shower and wash my face with Dove bar soap. I will leave out all other showering aspects. I do 1 final wash and leave the soap on for a minute then since it off.

I whipped up a very nice creamy lather and massaged it into my face. It feels so good so I lathered longer than usual. Grabbed my razor and off I want WTG. I found the angle right away. I knew by the sound not loud but I could feel it in my ears. Today Instead of no pressure I applied light pressure like I have done on my G1. I could see from the first pass that I had excellent reduction without having to feel. I checked it out anyways to see where I needed to concentrate on more. As usual i had a bit more under my jaw.

Regathered for second pass XTG. Same procedure some pressure and i went with short strokes maybe 1" length. I could hear my razor sing now. I wet my hands and checked my face. A true DFS at this point. As I do a 3 pass shave on to the third.

Lathered one last time and went ATG. Everything went smooth as silk. I wet my hands and checked for any leftover stubble. A tiny bit under my left side jaw. A few short strokes no lather added and it was gone. Added my AS and I feel GREAT.

I only have had a closer shave with my PAL. But tonights shave has been my most enjoyable and rewarding shave to date. Everything just fell into place. If I am able to continue to get this great of shaves with my C2 it will be in my top 3 razors to shave with only behind my PAL and E2.

I should be getting Bunny's razor this Saturday. I will give it a good cleaning and take it out for a test run. Very excited, especially after a fantastic shave with my C2.

I here you The last week or so I have had wonderful shaves. Mainly with my injectors and one really nice one with an old type SC. I know that there will be not so great days. When I get a shave like this it is wonderful.

You can say that again. I was really impressed with my shave today. That C2 really worked well. I actually like the shallow angle you hold it at. It goes around your contours easily. I will need to practice with it more and then get some twin blades and see what it really can do.

Back to the C1 today for a perfect BBS. No irritation and no touch ups required. The Dutch blade is getting better each shave I tell yeah.

Just went to put a blade in the B and found it way too loose to hold a blade. Any tips on tightening it up ??

This is common...Flatten the head against a Flat wooden surface...The head is sprung...It will tighten it up...Can take a fair bit of pressure as they tend to spring back...Repeat this procedure until it tightens up...They will always be sort of loose tho but that's fine as long as the blade is not moving around..:p
