Spinach & Artichoke Dip

    2 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    2/3 cup heavy cream
    1/3 cup grated parmesean cheese
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 - 16 oz bag frozen spinach (thawed & drained)
    1 - 13 3/4 oz can artichoke hearts (rinsed & drained)
    2/3 cup shredded Monteray Jack Cheese


    In food processor:

    Mix 1st four ingredients until smooth and creamy

    Add spinach & process until thoroughly mixed.

    Add artichokes & process until chunky.

    Place mixture in small crockery stonware & cook 75-90 minutes until center is hot (I use a small crockpot)

    Sprinkle with Monteray Jack cheese

    Serve with crackers, toast, fresh veggies, et al

    Spinach artichoke dip is on ANY diet. Don't question it... just enjoy!

    Well then, I'm certainly not going to argue that. :) I'll just have to add some chopped water chestnuts.
