Probably not too exciting - but I like it - a vintage Wilkinson WII/II cartridge razor NIB. This one will be used though.
I hit a couple of small shops today and found a couple of treasures. I saw this tube sitting among some tools with a nice price on it. I talked them down a few bucks and bought it. The shop owner then asked me wha it was and I took it apart and showed him. He was surprised
I remember that red dot. Back in the 70ies my Dad used this razor - that thing is long gone now. Congrats on your find
Oh that's cool! Yeah I think these were more common in Germany at least that's where the only auctions I've ever seen w/ this razor is from.
The Paradise Frost soap is not a face-freezer at all. In fact the menthol sensation only seems to come out on the second pass, but it's still a terrific soap.
The monthly antiques fair was today. It's outdoors under a freeway and it was windy and rainy. I almost didn't go. I'm glad I went. The display will be handy for some of my goodies. I got this New SC and an Enders with one unused blade. Some of you like the PAL so I snatched up this one along with this unusual English Ladies razor. So far a total of $20.00 spent on Razors and $25.00 for the display. On the way out I saw this baby and grabbed it. It's marked Geneva Cutlery New York and appears to have little, in any use. He went down to $25.00 from thirty. Not a bad haul for $65.00 It was worth getting wet.
you snatched an unusual English lady's razor. how rude... now she'll be a hairy unusual English lady.
I think 'hairy' in that sentence is a bit of a tautology or maybe rephrase it to "now she'll be a hairy usual English lady"
