Need help ranking a blade sampler

I added a blade sampler from Amazon to a recent order and was wondering if you fine gentlemen would help me with ranking them. I'd like to know what you think the best to worst are from these seven choices.

My first DE shave won't happen until Christmas since I've asked for a razor as a gift. I have soaps and a brush and I plan to augment those selections over time as well. But I'll use one of these blades in my first shave.

Only your face and opinion is important. Try them all. What I or anyone else think is irrelevant.

 

He's right, what we think is irrelevant but try the GSB's anyway.

Seriously, I like the 7 o'clock . The Astra are one of my favorites, however you may find them to be terrible. Try as many different blades as you can. You'll find something that works great for you.

 

Have you all found in your experience that blades often perform better on the second or third shave? I've heard that but wondered about its veracity.

I have tried all those blades and the GSB and Gillette Platinum are my favorite but the Astra blades are both really great too.

I've tried all of them except the Gillette Goal. As far as the others, they are all excellent. I use the Gillette Silver Blues and Astra SP's quite frequently. As always w/blades YMMV..............

 

I can tell you I would avoid the Nacet, save them for last.

I saw a link to tryablade.com in a separate thread. I just went there and got about 30 different blades, 2 or 3 of many different brands that I want to try or that I've heard of. That's a great website for those who are in need of trying blades!

I did not! I'll have to look again. I just went to DE blades and started adding to my cart.

When I got it it was 96 blades for just over $40. I think he has added some and is somewhere around 116 blades now. Should be at the very top of the DE page if not on the home page.
