They have one called the "Trud" that looks like a biger wedge for 23.50. Not bad there. Let us know how your extra experience helps on this razor.

I totally read that as "Turd" which may or may not be a good name for the quality of steel. I will be posting my shaves with my new toy. I am hoping for tolerable, without bloodshed. Ivan and Yuri suggest you get that razor. Soon.

Tell them that I need cash and can step up to "deal" with some of their clients. They can relax with models, caviar, and vodka.

The Cartel is indeed very proud and happy. All doubts about your loyalty have been erased and I've recalled Yuri back to the fold. Standing in solidarity our two month plan to shave for the Motherland will be a most glorious example of the fine quality of the razors :happy097: and the fortitude of real men to put such steel against their faces:scared001:. A toast to victory! :eatdrink047:

I'll see if we can dispatch the boys, but last time I checked they had a dollar between them. Not exactly the best with money. I can, however, provide the models.

However, I am learning a bit about badgers and my primarily Godrej shaving round leftover soaps. My badger tends to want to make a fluffy light lather that dissipates fairly quickly, however, my Omega boar and TGN synthetic and VL horsehair brushes all work well with this hard soap and whip up a creamy dense lather.

    Prep: warm wash
    Lather: Godrej Shaving Round
    Brush: Omega 10066
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: Astra SP (4)
    Post: Clubman Vanilla

It might be that the badger doesn't pick up as much soap as the stiffer brushes. Have you tried overloading the badger and seeing if that helps?

Decent shave tonight I had a go with brush again but abandoned it as my lather ended up like froth from a beer. I thought how hard can it be? But it seems nothing is instant when learning this style of shaving, I find that adds to the enjoyment and reward though I am still resisting my new creams but the temptation is growing. Still focusing on taking it slow and correct angle tonight felt like everything went just right I landed the razor at a perfect angle every time which is a new found skill and I ended up BBS with alum cold water splash and snake bite feeling great. I also have good news from @Billyfergie who has let me purchase a great looking 1924 shovel head from him at a very generous price.... Top guy :happy108:

Sounds like your doing great, just keep at it. It only gets better. Try using less water, foamy soap or cream happens to me when too much water is added. Enjoy your shaves. :happy036:

Thank you Secret Santa from Burbank Calif. U.S.A. Put some TSD 2x Commando Cocktail in my new bowl and whipped up a great lather. Really liked the scent of this soap. This was followed by the TSD 2x Aftershave. Outstanding finish. :happy096:

This is the only soap that doesn't seem to work with the badger. I think the brush may be too soft and really "dig" up enough of this hard soap. No worries, I'll be back to Dusy Kabinett after the New Year!

When you feel that you enough soap, add a little more. When you feel like you have too much soap, it's probably about right. Better to waste soap than shred skin. Congrats on the 24! Kudos @Billyfergie
