Schick Repeating Razor Owners Club (SRROC)

This just hit on the bay. I am not going for it so let the feeding frenzy begin, but you have to find it yourself. (not hard)

 

Suddenly I had a visual of sharks in a feeding frenzy around a floundering fish...

 

I have no proof, but I believe this club has had an impact on the overall pricing of these razors.

 

So..the third brother showed up today... (center) J301 marked.

I got my Type A from this guy, he said it was nice and it is!

 

I'm thinking the same thing buddy!

 

I'm glad I bought my Type B before this thread.

 

Also the A type was the same price as the others he has but since it is considerably more rare I bought it. Don't think I could find $150 for a type B or C..

 

Received the Schick Type A that was part of a larger lot.
Mechanically it seems sound (spring/blade loader comes out without any issues and head folds well) but it sure looks like it has led a rough and dirty life.
Having said that these razors do tend to clean up rather well so we'll see how this one comes out.





It looks like this one is numbered "90" with potentially a square sign or something afterward. Not quite sure as this part is pretty dirty. Will look again once it's a bit cleaner

 

That is the same mark as mine.. turn it over, it is 106.

I have a C2 en route. This will complete my line up of C types. I'll post some pics once it arrives.

 

Im getting complete Set of C type envy.....thats two guys this week showing off type C trifectas.

Im on the hunt for a C3 so that I can join this select group.......

 

Ahh...Razor Envy. I find it to be worse than the other envy.

 

This is the second type A Ive seen with the blade holder spring piece that is silver. Is it just the plating gone from the head or do we have a different beast here?

 

Your Repeaters are cool looking razors. Do you have cookies? Valet parking?

 

Mine is the same. I thought the gold was worn off, but it is definitely silver. Both Darkbulb and I have the same marking on the razor, 106, I wonder if that was a design change for that batch.

 

Yes, I use this to valet park my phone on my nightstand and it holds cookies quite well in the front section.

 

The Gold Plating is very thin on the A Type...Its just plating loss but they look just as good underneath...
