    I can't thank you enough for directing me to Fig and York the pricing is just great and the service is outstanding. BTW I also received the grandpa's pine tar soap yesterday. Tried it this morning, it smells like a campfire. Very manly stuff, the lather and cleaning properties are unbelievable as I rinsed off I was literally squeaky clean. Great stuff! Couldn't be happier with the aristocrat, now I know what the fuss is about. :happy088:

    Hello fellow Denizens, I just want to show everyone what the two styles of end caps look like on the Gillette Milord Tech. The left hand razor has the post 1941 style end caps. The right hand razor has the 1940/41 style end caps. I hope this photo helps everyone who wishes to correctly ID their Milord.

    Gerry, it may hit 70 on Christmas eve..that might make me not above a cold shower AND cold shave. 70 in Massachusetts on X-mas eve.

    I wasn't going to post today, but figured why not, I got nothing else better to do....

    I'm kind of liking this scuttle lather way of shaving. I also hadn't used my MTO razor since I first got it, back in February. Although it did a decent job, I remember why I haven't used it since. While the chrome is nice a shiny, its a very mild razor and very cheaply made. Nothing beats a 50-60 year old razor. (Except maybe EJ, Merkur, or Muhle ;) )

    Anyway....
