Update - I soon ran out of room with all of my constant buying. Found a display cabinet on Craigslist. I still have my "use all the time" stuff in the bathroom. I just have a different way to store razors and soaps now. Earlier this year, I totally gutted and remodeled our master bedroom bathroom. I decided to open the closet in the bathroom and just put in a TV armoire that hadn't been used in years. I added a custom rear mirror and had glass shelves made. Ran electric and put it all together. I hope you guys like it! It's turned my new "hobby" into a treat! My wife says I have an obsession with lights and razors. I have to admit, I DO! I had a problem with storing my razors and blades. I wanted something open and enjoyable to use / look at. I searched and I saw on another forum about a rubber stamp holder to hold brushes and razors. Found a great vintage one on EBAY. I also added an acrylic makeup holder to store my blades to keep them organized. For my used blades. Mason jar and cut a slot in the top.
That's impressive. I'd be staring at that all day. Nuts. I thought I was in high cotton when my wife allowed me two shelves in the medicine cabinet. Must reaccess.
I really like the look of your den! It's organized so well. I need to get one or two of those small acrylic drawer assemblages. That's a fantastic storage idea for razors and such.
Thank you so much!! I searched on EBay for "acrylic makeup holders" and all kinds of options come up!
That is superb. I just showed it to the wife and she rolled her eyes. I'm only a recent convert but I've already told her that I'm going to be doing up our ensuite bedroom as a den. She thinks she'll be allowed us it after that - we'll see For the makeup holder for blades I saw one in Tiger (for fellow Europeans) the other day and was thinking it would be great for blades. It was very similar to the one above and was only about €8 iirc. Might pick up one during the week. Of course that will mean I need to buy more blades to fill it - no NB16 for me :;
