While DD and I were at Star Wars, I ended up winning an auction for this (seller's photo):

Can you tell how you use this stuff...Do you just apply to the face as it is and rub it in ? or do lather it with a brush ? The instruction's suggest just to apply and rub it into the beard...:signs002:

@Karl G ...I couldn't access that post about Leopold Kuhnl but I do know he invented the I types, the Hydro-matic lever, J,K,L...The modern injector blade dispenser....but I don't know what else...Oh yeah, he co-invented with Rodrigues, a spring that help hold the head in place on some C3s...It's not on mine and the head on mine stays in place perfect though...

I read the discription that Vic wrote on his pat. app. for the smooth comb on the C3...Very cool...He said it was to stretch the skin so the shaver didn't need to with the fingers of his free hand...So I tried shaving with my C3 today, and tried to never stretch with my free hand...Which I always do, so it was hard fighting the impulse...But Vic was right, I got a beautiful BBS with no stretching...}8^))

Merry Christmas Everybody....Tomorrow I will use one of Vic's progeny, the Schick Simplified Automatic Repeater....(I love that name), For my Christmas Shave...}8^))

I have never seen a Pal Injectomatic razor in Canada and wondered if anyone was aware if they ever sold in Canada. Been to dozens of antique stores and similar but no show.
Schick E types with butterscotch Bakelite handles are common here since they were manufactured in Fort Erie Ontario a few hours away.

I don't know about that one..The American Safety Razor Company had problems Marketing them in the USA because the American public identified Injectors with the Schick brand name..They found new alternative markets in Europe where Schick's were relatively unheard of..Most of the PAL Injectomatics that show up are in Britain..:)

Thanks Billy that would explain it. Guess a "drive" across the pond might be a bit far to go antique hunting with the wife. Mind you she would not mind.
Also rare on the bay's here also, maybe I should be looking on UK sites.

My $11 antique E3 E4 find really cleaned up nice. Always floored on how these come out looking considering there age. A testament to quality.

Never intend on buying more of these but Can't resist sometimes based on price and the fact that I feel like I'm running a E type razor rescue service at times.

That doesn't look like its got lugs on the spring...If its not got lugs on the spring then its an E 4...Unless its just the angle of the pic...:signs002:

Its in good Nick..I was surprized when I opened the box..Both blades are pretty sharp an all..This will be a serious shaver I reckon...We all speak loosely about shaving with an SE straight blade on a stick...Well this is the absolute straight edge hollow ground blade on a stick without any safety guard..Its a hollow ground straight on a handle..:)

Exactly right sir. Ive only tried mine on the easy parts of my face (cheeks). I can attest to how sharp the blades are, as I sliced the tip of my index finger badly while disassembling it.

Thanks now I feel bad - I have a fully restored, shave-ready one that has been sitting on the shelf for a month now being neglected.
I will for sure take it for a spin in January.
