one hooked me up with Henry Cavendish shave soap. the other contacted Julie at dirty bird pottery. I'm waiting on the scuttle.

I may or may not have gone a little crazy with inexpensive old fashioned aftershaves. I was looking for a bottle of Lustray, witch is supposed to be a nice aftershave with a short lifespan, so it should be good in a cubical farm. Once I found it, shipping is the same for one bottle as five, so I ordered Lustray Draggon Noir, Lustray Blue Spice, Lucky Tiger Aspen, Clubman Special Reserve, Stephen Island Lime.

 

LOL...if it was a duplicate...why not leave it for someone else to buy?

I've REALLY been wanting one of these, and not one that was destroyed looking, and at a good price. I feel comfortable with what I paid for it compared to what user grade ones are going for. Can't wait for the maiden voyage shave!

 

Still waiting on the Simplex set...a couple of 5-blade boxes of Derby Extras which should come in today...three 5-blade Wilkinson Classics...two 5-blade Feather Hi-stainless...and bought a gold Tech ball-end this morning.

Edit: The Derbys and Wilkinsons came in this afternoon...I'm as well-stocked in blades as I am in motel soap. The Simplex is in Austin & will delivered Monday.

 

Seems like for sale ads on shaving forums is the 'easiest' way these days.

 

My mysterious mystery package should come in today but I will be out spending some giftcards and catching a Matinee of The Force Awakens while the kids(who already saw it with their dad) are gone to Linville caverns with the forementioned Father. They didn't want to go with him but we told them they should because he only decides to notice them 2 or 3 times a year. I will stop by the house and check the mail shortly after its due to arrive before the movie.

Matador closed comb safety razor, longer slimmer handle than the open comb. I found it buy it now. to add to my collection.

 

Very nice, looks super solid.

 

Anyone know if the bullgoose razors are any good BTW? Couldn't find any info on them just went on the product description. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thx.
