Maca Root cream Doug Korn brush Gillette Fatboy (G3) Nacet Platinum (2) Alum Ogallala Bay Rum AS Have a great weekend! I'm liking this brush
VDH boar brought up nice lather from ARKO rubbed straight from the stick. Gillette 3 piece ball end gave me a 2nd no flaw shave on a Kroger's SS blade. OldSpice AS is not what I remember, but OK.
Sticking with the F until I get back home. With less than 24 hours of stubble I cut back to a 2 pass routine to avoid any risk of getting too close. Nice shave. Lots of people knock the VDH brush. But I got it to introduce myself to wet shaving and I love it. Works very well for me and don't see a reason to replace it just yet. But may get a synthetic brush
Primo cut loose with Pagliacci after this morning's shave. He's an Opera Verismo kinda guy...never a missed opera tunity.

For my Sunday morning shave: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Derby day 7 Ingram Green SC Gold Bond Moisturizer Mennen Skin Bracer AS Sorry for not showing any pictures, but I've got a very nice chilly selection for Sunday. The Ingram Green cream from Egypt has the same super-rich lather as the original version from the UK with an almost identical scent. The menthol effect is quite a bit stronger - in fact I'd call it DAMNED cold. The skincare is also pretty good. I'm in love with the Gold Bond and the Skin Bracer - there's no way I can be without them. My Derby blade has been cleaning me up so well this whole week!
Custom? Tell me more! I may try VDH unscented with patchouli and lime Essential Oils. I like the VDH soaps, too. I've found tallow gives better performance, but I'm not tossing a good soap because I've found better. Same goes for the brush.
Just cut a chunk of it and melted in that little jar. While it was still liquid, I added a liberal amount of essential oil (eucalyptus mint for this one) then stirred it and let it cool and harden. It lathers just as well and not has a great mint feel that feels great on the skin. And you can add whatever aroma you like.

Glad you liked your soap Joe, thanks for the review. I have a newly acquired Fine Angel hair brush also, I hope you've liked it as much as I have.
For those of us not in the International know, what is Boxing Day? And you are the second shaver I've seen using Iced Florida water, good?
