Haven't used the Ikon for a while and I forgot what a great shaver it is. The feel is different from my other razors, and it is smooth, easy to navigate plus it gives lots of audible feedback. I used the SV Grail to whip up the MW lather. Made enough creamy goodness for 3+ passes in no time. True BBS all around.

image.jpeg Razor: Merker Futur Polished Chrome 2015 (1.5)
    Brush: Stirling Synthetic 26/63 2015
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Truefitt&Hill No 10
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne

Put some Truefitt&Hill No 10 into my favorite OS mug. The Stirling whipped up some nice warm lather. My new Futur is a great looking razor, and I'm starting out on 1.5 to see how it goes, without going over to the "Dark Side". It has a nice weight and good balance, and surprisingly is not slippery to hold. The head is large covering the entire blade, so I had to adjust to get into some tight spots, under my nose. The good news is , with the blade totally covered, you don't have to worry about catching an edge. made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG and done. I had enough lather left over for another pass. The WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne. The Futur is a nice addition to my Jedi Den, thanks to my Bride. Y'all have a good one!

    Good evening from Finland.
My shave this afternoon consisted of the same old setup which has accompanied me through December so far:
Fitjar Fjellheim shave cream, Fatboy by Delta Echo loaded with a Feather blade, Mühle travel shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre V1.0, Alum by Osma and after shave by Musgo. Since it has been rather chilly and very very dry, I have now for the past couple of shaves used the Musgo Classic AS followed shortly thereafter by the Musgo Balm. My face likes it. ;)

Sorry to here your sick. This always works for me! Get well soon!

    Hot Toddy
    • 1 cup of tea (green, or your favorite)
    • 1 tsp honey
    • 1 shot of bourbon, rum, tequila ( you get the idea)
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 1cinnamon sticks (optional)
    • 1 pn cloves, to taste (optional)
    • 1 lemon wedges (optional)
Make the tea as you normally do, but use a large mug. Add the honey onto the bottom and stir. Then the adult beverage and lemon juice. Garnish with any combination of whole cloves, cinnamon stick, and/or lemon wedge. Sit back and enjoy. Repeat as necessary.

Thank you! Yes I am and yes they are playing quite well. Maybe even better than the adult National team ;) Although, they got their butts whooped by Russia yesterday.

That's quite an attractive and unique Fatboy. What type of custom plating is it?

    A COLD WATER shave attempt!

Prep: Warm shower, Jackalope beer soap
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (2)
    Razor: Wet Shave Club 3-piece
Brush: Satin Tip The Purest synthetic
    Lather: Arko
Post: Witch hazel, Speick after shave lotion, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, ATG, touch-up

I tried the cold water route today. I was certainly apprehensive because warm water has always been my choice, but I decided to give it a whirl. Initial impressions were good. I need to try it again to get a better feel for it. It's obvious why a good many of you prefer cold water shaves - it was certainly invigorating. I'm going to experiment with it more before adopting it or canning it.

A little irritation on my neck probably from overworking that area during touch-up. My beard was fairly light since I had an evening shave yesterday.

I hope everyone has a great day!
