I clearly am not an expert in Vintage Razors - Is the proper name the slim twist?

Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Energizing Face Wash Boost
    Razor: Grafco-Merkur 3-Piece Open Comb
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue
    Lather: RazoRock Son of Zeus
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft
Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate
    Aftershave: RazoRock Son of Zeus
SOZ is a citrus, woodsy, cedar scent. Simply AWESOME. Something about this Grafco-Merkur OC that keeps me reaching for it, it's fairly mild but very efficient. Plissoft was a great buy.

Just about the perfect combination I've experienced. The Fatboy provides such a well balanced comfy shave, add the Parker Silvertip Badger brush for further luxury. Aces!

Thank you JR. It is a very nice knot. It's dense but not so dense that it hogs the lather.

    Go Green! Beat Bama!
I put Fireside to the test today by using a feather blade in the Futur. Usually I don't like feathers, as I can get just as close with more forgiveness from a Voskhod. Today's shave was smooth and easy with just one little weeper at the bottom of my neck. I finished with Krampert's Bay rum, my favorite of that scent family.
I also used the new stand I got for my Futur - it has a 14.9 mm opening and a wider base. I like it because it makes my counter less cluttered, since I don't use a stand with my brush.
