Well, my first post of 2016 was pretty stupid. Less than thirty minutes into the new year, it may be a new record for me and considering I only had a couple of drinks I can't blame it on alcohol. I turned the TV on late and saw Alabama was playing Ole Miss. I don't follow either team and it never dawned on me this was being rebroadcast from early in the season. It wasn't until reading the paper this morning and seeing Alabama beat Michigan State that I realized something was amiss.
I'm awaiting the arrival of my new Health Ins. card(new carrier on a MassHealth program). I can print a temporary off the website, so I'll do that, but at my Mom's computer(this one at my apartment, while it does allow me to use The Shave Den, is on its last legs, and of course the town library is closed). So I'll be doing PERSONAL BUSINESS on this New Year's Day. Needs to be done, though. Hope to be back for the "Bowl of Roses."
Did our usual. Stayed in and threw out an invite to friends to come over and celebrate the new year. Ended up with 12 adults and nearly as many kids in the house and fell into bed about 4am. Had a great night.
I actually gave a message at a church watch service last night. Very enjoyable time. Good way to bring in the new year.
Finally making it around to go see the new Star Wars movie. Then, watching Ole Miss later. Hotty Totty my friends.
I watched no spherical or other devices drop at the witching hour because I dropped in the sack by 10:00 pm.
Starting off year with healthy eating. Wife made us a big salad. Mixed greens with radicchio - soft goat cheese - tomatoes - pear - fig - cranberry - cucumber - walnuts Balsamic vinegar & olive oil dressing.
Update-I found I am IN THE SYSTEM of my new plan, but I couldn't print out the temp, card. I'll do it this week-end at the library if I don't get the official one tomorrow. Latter should arrive soon if not then. But nice to know they have me in the system.

I went to bed around 9:30, 'cuz I had to be up by 4:30 to go to work. Thank goodness I live in a neighborhood where they don't let you forget it's New Year's Eve! I think they stopped around 1:30. At least work today was quiet.
The way my 2015 life ended was similar to yours. I was watching a Harvard basketball game, and when the announcers said "We'll be right back", in fact they WERE right back. Shortest commercial break I ever saw. I thought the game was pre-recorded, but it was live. What happened, I was left to wonder.
