    Saturday's shave
Elite razor handle with a Stahly head
Elite brush handle with 24mm WD high mountain badger
    7 o'clock blade
    Tabac
    British sterling
Fantastic shave today! This brush really made some lather from the Tabac, and I could barely feel the razor cutting but my face felt like polished marble after 2 passes. The badger knot had no oder which surprised me. My other brushes may get lonely.... Have a great day everyone! image.jpeg

    today's shave
hot water wash with nuetrogena men's invigorating face wash and a washcloth
    Oscar11/ omega
    Proraso red
Clauss 5/8 full hollow round end
    Crusella& co Sandalo
today's shave was nice. the omega and Proraso made nice creamy thick lather. the Clauss felt nice, maybe a bit heavy handed. I'm not quite as comfy around my chin. dfs+, but good enough. finished with Sandalo.
Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Hey David, where do you find all these after shaves?

at a voo-doo shop. I'm not sure about what else they sell, but there are statues from the virgin Mary to pentagrams. tons of incense, burners and homemade soaps and air fresheners.
but they sell the full line of Crusella&co, in several sizes. so I pray over the things I buy, and try them out. most are alcohol based colognes, that I use as aftershaves.
the Crusella line is a Cuban company now from Miami.

Hey is the Agua Lavanda a long lasting cologne or more of a AS splash? Ive the large bottle of it that smells great but doesnt last long. I noticed the bottle doesnt have a spray like the other Puig (Agua Brava) I own

Prep: Hot Shower/ Nivea Men's Original Moisturizing Face Wash
Pre-Shave: PAA Ice Pre Shave Soap
    Soap: Catie's Bubbles LPV
    Brush: Semogue 1460 Boar
Razor/ Blade: Maggard Mr-5 Muhle R89/ Personna Lab Blue (3)
    Astringent: Alum
    Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Aftershave: Captain's Choice Sandalwood

So decided to try the Catie's Bubbles LPV one last time, since that weird burning. Still had a burn to it, but I didn't overload the brush this time and the burn was bearable. It feels almost like an alcohol burn, so it does wake you up. Not sure if I'm a fan of the burn and will keep using it or if I will trade it away, but like the scent. Overall, it was a good shave last night. Semogue 1460 is still my favorite brush--soft, but plenty of backbone and whips up a great lather. As for Catie's Bubbles soaps, I'm not completely sold. They load easily and lather great, but post-shave just isn't there for me. Also, they claim to be a luxury brand, but packaging is atrocious--the tub is cheap plastic that always come scratched and the labels are not waterproof and are always missing color from areas. Not sold on the whole brand, but did give a comfortable shave. Nivea sensitive worked well like always and I really enjoy the CC Sandalwood aftershave. I have a full size bottle but am using the sample first--it is a very woody, nutty, and masculine sandalwood scent which is what I like. Hope everyone had good shaves!

This is an EdT that has some real staying power. I had to order it from Spain.

    Super smooth Saturday Shave...

Ghost ship was great...I really pick up the grapefruit and citrus notes. The amber and sandlewood are suttle but help the scent linger. Soap was slick and I was done in 2 passes with the duck.

My Mysol post shave combo is not changing...love this stuff.

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush
    Soap/cream- Razorock XXX
    Brush- Plisson synthetic
Razor- WEBER polished head all stainless steel
    Blade- Personna lab blue(2)
Post- Cold water rinse, Humphrey Witch hazel and Nivea Original aftershave balm

First time using Razorock XXX. I was a little mean and gave the soap a 3 day growth to tackle, results? It did WELL =) so I'm very happy with the soap.

I know the RR soaps perform well because I have had the Classic before. But for some reason it started burning a few shaves in, I gotta admit I was a little worried this one would burn my face, but I'm very happy it didn't.

So the scent, it smells very old school and the citrusy notes are there and pretty noticeable. That's NOT a bad thing, I like that a lot.

The post shave wasn't the best but we'll see in a few shaves how it feels. I don't wanna judge it after one shave. All in all, very happy with the soap!

I wanted to use my WD silvertip, but I haven't used it in a while and I wanted to keep as many things constant in the shave so i could really know how the soap performs

    Booster Polar Ice AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:

Check out my new baby and tell me what you think. My barber gave me this brand-new brush as a gift today and I'm all pumped to get it broken in as soon as possible. The Florena cream is something I haven't used in a LONG time and I feel bad because it's so good. Smells, lathers, and feels great during and after a shave. The Lubriderm moisturizer is perfect for sensitive skin and so is the Polar Ice - it also smells so nice and barbershoppy, that Polar Ice does. Let's see if the Derby can complete its week of service on a good note! ;) :D

    SHAVE OF the day
    20160102_160232.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real classic
    Razor: Gillette ball end tech
    Blade: croma (5th shave)
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: LEA shaving stick
Post: Ogallala lime & peppercorn/ T&H West Indian Limes Balm

Had a decent 2 pass shave today. First time with the LEA stick, it made a very nice lather and has a fresh soapy scent. The lanolin made it nice for the post shave. The blade was showing signs of dulling, but it still ended up being a nice shave. Finished off with Ogallala and T&H balm. Hope everyone has a great shave!
