Shaving related products/activities you want to try in 2016

What is TBD?

 

I would like to learn to shave with a straight razor. I'm not sure how I'll do that as it's NB 2016. Wait! Didn't that only apply to DE razors?

 

Pickup a double ring or a Bull Dog Kahki set (It's my party and I'll dream it I want to).

1. Thin the herd, both in my rotation of shave-ready blades as well as my restoration backlog.
The following straight razors...
2. Wacker
3. Filarmonica
4. DePew monkey-tail
5. Dorco

 

1. Find a way to display my razors
2. PIF of some of my duplicates
3. Try out a couple of my Autostrops
4. Find a # 170 Goodwill
5. Try a vintage slant

1 build a nice holder for my razors and brushes
2 find 2 soaps and 3 aftershaves that perform well and that I enjoy
3 pif all the soaps and aftershaves that I have remaining
That's about it. I found the 2 razors that work best for me so for this year, I just want to perfect my technique with those.

Not a thing for me. It's a No Buy '16 for me and my wife says she's going to enforce it. Lucky me (insert sarcasm here)

 

I'm doing No Buy 2016, so my list is a little different.

1. Don't buy anything shave related
2. Use my straight razor for a full face shave
3. Learn to strop
4. Do a head shave with my SR1 or straight
5. Don't buy anything shave related
