1. That is sweet! I've got five years on you, still searching for my Y1 SA.
  2. So these are the infamous Instagram seven? ;) Nice collection!

  3. What's really amusing is the fact that DB has more of those brushes than Fido (the creator of the New Forest brand) does. He kept the first brush made, the last brush made and one or two others.

  4. No... The Instagram seven are a bit more exciting than these actually ;)

  11. Probably not. It's a full box. If I'd found only a couple packs, I would.

  12. The Christmas haul. I've long been intetested in whiskey water pitchers, but could never find one linked to anything I drink. I found this in Berkley Springs, WV.

This was a gift from my wife. It's a Barbasol I admired in an antique store in MD a year ago. I don't know how to determine if it's a floating head, or the year.

This is my second heirloom razor...a Bar Handle NEW that belonged to my stepfather's dad.

  16. My @Jayaruh #12 is squared also. It's great for face lathering and easy loading due to the shape. Hope you enjoy your brushes. :happy088:

  19. I just received this Old Type from the UK today. It had the razor blade shown in it. Looks like a 1908 based on serial number A 625126. It has a Brit Pat number 28.763.02. Info I read from another forum indicates Old Types A and B series were made in Boston and exported to the UK. UK production supposedly did not start until early 1909. Looks to be in great shape and does not appear to have any cracks, and of course plenty of patina. The initials on the top of the case are a mystery. The seller had no info on the case or razor. I wonder if the ititals were a UK thing? I proably will eventually clean it up using hot water, baking soda, aluminum in the glass pan procedure. My 1918 now has a sibling.
