today's shave was very nice. lather so nice,I stopped and took the pic, before third pass. great razor, perfect for buffing strokes. excellent bbs, comfy shave. finished with legitima rose. thanks again @John Beeman .

Very pleasant almost BBS shave. Soap and brush never disappoint and the little DOC is a pretty cool tool.

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle today. 20 seconds to load the E-R Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. GSB in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Burberry Brit.

Traveling with a CarboInox​

On the road again and this time I brought with me this Mastro Livi CarboInox, the first one of the three I have in my collection and made with this special Mastro Livi Damsascus by combining temperable stainless steel and Mastro Livi carbon Damascus. The result is of absolute beauty: the charm of blue twisted Damascus and the bronze colored stainless steel give the blade an absolutely elegant and classy style. For this shave I also used one of the most classic shaving soap around - Palmolive Classic Stick - very cheap and however excellent for its price, and this Mennen Blue, an aftershave I recently bought in Belgium and it turned out to be an excellent product, lovely fragrance and cooling effect. Very good shave!​

I had a light beard today and the Blackbird easily gave me a BBS shave without ATG pass. I didn't need any touchup. It has a different face feel due to the geometry and the finish, I felt that I needed to pay close attention to angle and pressure. There is a great deal of audio feedback, and when an area was BBS there was almost no sound, stealthy. It was fun to use and I look forward to more Blackbird shaves.
