Based of my shave this morning, I will be adding the B1 standard base plate in 2017. I'm closely following your focus this month.

 

Congrats. You are moving right along with your focus and getting very good shaves. Way to go.

 

January 5th, day four

First complete shave with the pils is in the books. It will take a few shaves before Im ready to give it a thorough review but first impressions are positive. Three pass BBS except a few areas that will need closer attention as I learn to use this beauty.
The Mé soap performs wonderfully with the synthetic brush Ive found. It doesnt retain water like a badger which can be a detriment to building lather with this artisan soap.

 

That razor is a real beauty. I have always admired the looks and clean lines.

What? I was just encouraging you to encourage your fellow 30DF Crew members to explore the full potential of their gear without fearing possible blood, menthol burns, or poorly designed equipment. It makes us focus more on our Technique.

 

Welcome aboard! Clowns to right, jokers to the left. Great group of people and a great way to focus on learning your gear. There are a lot of people here with experience in a lot of different razors and gear, and shenanigans and help are given freely.

Sounds like things are progressing well. Tell me a little about the brush. How do you like it? It looks great in the all black with gold lettering, but does it feel any good on the face?

 

That razor is beautiful! It looks incredibly solid and heavy. I expect it is a different experience shaving with that one from most others? Looking forward to future reviews!

 

That brush came in a subscription box from the Wet Shave Club. It came in a nice circular box. My experience with brushes is very limited, but I characterize Satin Tip as quite soft. I face lather and it slings water over my arm and sink more than other brushes I have. But it seems to work well overall and feels nice and soft on the face. The badger that I have is much more scratchy and probably exfoliates better, but I have no complaints about the Satin Tip. I like it and will work it into a rotation that I'm sure will include more brushes over time.

 

Actually they're more interested in the purity of vodka. Everything else is just a jumble of terrifying memories.

 

It's more fun to stay on a watchlist and do everything you can to confuse them. Your tax dollars at work and all that.

 

In spite of those being from St. Pete's, the cartel accepts your support of them as proving your loyalty. And I just got the boys sobered up enough to do an enforcer run. They're not gonna be happy.

 

Still going to Venezuela. Beaches are nice this time of year.

Why am I always on the wrong side? Can you resend the clown/joker calendar? Apparently I have my sides mixed up again.

 

I think Adam keeps sending you the wrong calendar on purpose so you will be on the opposite side . . . you know, the watchlist and all.

 

I'm all in for that. It's just the type of encouragement we all need I think
