Same here. I think my disappointment in #1-3 soured me. I didn't find Darth Vader's metamorphosis from a good kid to an evil mass murderer very convincing. I'll probably wait until it's on Netflix or a rental on Amazon, probably sometime after the next movie is released.
Not so much a movie, but a 10 hour miniseries. I last watched Making a Murderer. Man was it powerful! It was excellent, but not for the faint of heart or easily offended.
Started watching it but kinda gave up on it after he told the story when he threw the family cat in the fire. Didn't really care after that if that psychopath was guilty or not of some other crime.
You can get your share of violence anywhere, but the dialogue and writing is why I like Tarnetino's films. I loved Dexter but that ending.....disappointning.
That's too bad. It is a rough story though and the only reason I got through it (i think)was because my mom was a psych nurse...so I'm not too shocked by anything I hear anymore. I read up on the head prosecutor's interviews. He was all ticked off that the documentary excluded evidence...but when reading what it was, it turned out to be more of the same things as you see in the show...and wouldn't really hold any bearing on the viewer's opinion.
For me, that's the problem. Physical evidence is important to me and if you're going to produce a 10 hour series, why not include all evidence in the case? Makes it look like the show's producers have an agenda or are trying to push the viewer's opinion to one side.
I am positive the producers are trying to sway the viewers reaction... Who wouldn't like to find out about a corrupt police department victimizing the poor and uneducated? (just saying in general, not my personal opinion)
You really, really should carry on watching. It really is an amazing story. The worst part about it is that it's true.
Took my youngest daughter to her first film. We saw The Peanuts movie. She loved it and I enjoyed or too.
Mississippi Grind. Decent plot, but it was fairly uncomfortable to watch. It had a LOT of weird dynamics between the characters. 6 out of 10. Before that, it was Ant-Man. Yet ANOTHER home run flick by Marvel! If you like superhero movies, and you haven't seen this one yet, you're missing out! 10 out of 10.
Agreed. I had high hopes after Skyfall, but this one just seemed like the normal Bond film...nothing special.
What a great movie. I watched it with my wife and we both thought it was very entertaining! Of course the music was the best part...apart from the laugh!
The New Star Wars! "The Force Awakens". Would post my opinion here but that seems like a topic worthy of its own thread lol.
