I sat down last night and started an inventory on my gear. I have at least 14 straight razors I have never used, and six or seven DE/SEs. I only shave every other day, so get about 15 shaves a month. I typically focus on only three razors in a month, to get a feel for them. My rotation for soaps and aftershaves lets me use each about once a month. I think in addition to my no buy (trades allowed) I am going to get some of my gear to new homes this year.
I too, am looking at thinning a bit. I have a few razors that I never use, and wouldn't miss if I never did again, and a few brushes that should probably go to a better home.
Dang! Seen all the goodies for sale right now on various BSTs??? I knew this would happen, but I'm hanging tough.
I just found another item today that will go into a PIF this year. So far, I've got a brush, a razor head, a few soap samples that I'm not crazy about, oh yeah, and a nearly full bottle of The VEG.

That is what happened to me. I had deleted all shave related products from my watch list, but I started searching listings out of habit. Too late for me now. I blew it.
Well just pay the indulgence fee to TSD donations (suggest $5.00 min) to release yourself from purgatory.
What a sweet find though. I've already faced much temptation. We shall stay strong, well, some of us.
