I would give it a shot. I've used some AV from the 60s IIRC, and have also used Avon AS from the 60s as well. Still Fine. I know some folks would pay 5 times that price (maybe 10 times even) for some NOS Old Spice. It should be fine. I woulda walked out of there with one of each at $5 per.
a lady Gillette he had gold plated. he's high, no doubt, but so are other places. he just figured if someone wants, they'll pay. I had a friend with a lakeside lot. it was a75k chunk of land. he really didn't want to sell it. but it was listed for 750k, he said, you never know, someone may want it enough to cough up the dough. everyone wins. it's a sellers market with hard to find items.
I guess I should of bought them out. How old do you think they are? I'm trying to find information on these.
That clown doesn't know what he's talking about. And is insane to ask that kind of money for that razor.
I'm not sure on the age. The Citrus Musk bottle looks like the current version. If they have UPC labels you can generally assume that they're relatively recent.
Sellers can ask any price they want for an item, and I've seen many that are truly ridiculous - like this one. That does not mean that someone will pay it. Most items that turn up in an eBay search listed in Buy It Now format will be overpriced. Think about it - if someone lists an item at an attractive price, it will be snapped up immediately, leaving the $600 Fatboys to languish. The NOS term gets abused a lot. A true NOS item would be in the *unopened* original packaging. Instead, it gets stuck on anything with the original packaging that is not showing obvious signs of wear. Sort of like "Good condition considering its age" which means that the item is totally thrashed. --Bob
I can't believe this razor is this available. I love the Fatboy and if you shave with it for 50 years you may break even but thats not really the point. I hope he gets price. After losing my ass in DC in the housing market I may have a chance to get it back with sale of a few Fatboys !
