From the reviews I've read, it uses the same hair as Simpson's Best, so the hair will be top notch. It won't be as densely packed as a Simpson's brush, so you might find it a bit floppy, compared to a boar brush (or even other badger brushes). It has a good reputation though, you ought to be happy with it. Looking forward to your thoughts. My first two badger brushes were floppy, and so I thought I hated badger brushes and stuck with boar. I've learned better over the years, and now enjoy both badger and boar.
