Actually, I had a kid in Sunday school spoiler a couple of major things before I could tell him to hush. I was so let down. I've tried really hard to avoid knowing stuff going in. Oh well. Keeping my fingers crossed that the movie will at least live up to half the hype.

 

Stopped by the post office. Mailed out packages to two TSD members. Filled out "hold my mail" form as I'm going to visit my daughter, her 5 year old twin daughters, and to meet my newest (and only, so far) grandson. Six hundred miles at sixty miles per hour equals an all day drive.
Now I'm off to visit with my parents for mom's home cooking, and to pick satsumas to bring on the trip.

I've long since given up most activities that might get me arrested. I'm too old to go to jail now, and don't need to be taught that I don't want to spend time incarcerated. I also got tired of bailing folks out. If they haven't learned, time in the pokey is a lesson in itself.

Might harvest all the kumquats on my tree for gifting. They aren't my favorite, but other folks make preserves. I'll pick a Morrow blood orange, and a navel to eat right there. Lemons are ripe, too.
Other time of the year; pecans, Japanese - loquat & Mexican plums, pears, persimmons, grapes, guava, but that's the orchard. Not winter gardening this year. New horse stall fertilizer needs a fallow winter to age. This spring will be a good garden.
Anyone else grow their own?

Oh, and my grandson! I've not found much interactive joy in a baby that just eats, poops, and sleeps. He's 5-6 months? Becoming aware, so there's a person to begin knowing.

We did something fun yesterday. We went to the Garden State Outdoor Sport Show at the convention Center in Edison. The sports, on which it focused were hunting, fishing & archery. We met some interesting folks, saw some bow technology that was new to us and there was even a small animal exhibit. (I had never seen a live porcupine before, They are much bigger than I realized.)
