Y'know, I believe the Rise Super Foam does what the old Rise did.....just without the "Trusted Since the 50's" part. It's a great cream, but I think they took out the "50;s" scent and added it to the Cooling Balm.

    Gillette Black Tip
    Personna
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

I am loving this horse hair brush. Today is my third shave with it. The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #32 horse hair brush. Two passes with my Gillette Black Tip razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Prep: Warm shower, Jackalope beer soap
    Blade: Personna lab blue (2)
    Razor: Wet Shave Club 3-piece
    Brush: Badger
    Lather: Mitchells Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash, Country Club Southern Oud, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG, touch-up

Nice CCS results today. This was my initial venture with MWF and I wasn't disappointed! The protection and cushioning is all you could ask for but the post shave feel is really tremendous. I am quite glad to have some and will use it with pleasure!

I went for touch-up on my neck after two passes and probably should've just stopped. There are a couple of red spots which is unusual. The rest of my face is okay and feels nice and hydrated from the Wool Fat post shave feel combined with Nivea balm. The CC Southern Oud is not my favorite scent however. I may not use it again.

EDIT: I guess I wrote this post too soon after the shave. I'm happy to report that I have no redness or irritation on my neck or anywhere for that matter. This is my best DE shave to date!

Tomorrow will most likely be a face resting day followed by the return of Proraso White on Monday.

Hope you are having a great Saturday!

Thanks. It has a good feel too. It started out to be like a Rubberset 400 shape, but I made goof and so the top took a different route. However, the bottom is still fluted. I put the horse hair knot in it and am just this week getting around to using it. I really like it.

    January 10 (Shave Den Sunday)

Gillette Flare Tip Super Speed (Z3)
    Feather (3)
Rudy Vey Shavemac two-band silver tip badger brush
    TSD unscented soap
    Two passes plus touch-ups
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Alt Innsbruck

I've have a tried and true combo lined up for Shave Den Sunday. The Super Speed and the Shavemac brush pair up well for a great shave. I face lather, and I use my Becker travel scuttle to keep my lather warm between passes. I hope to pick up a couple of spares in different colors. TSD soap is slick and protective. If you don't have some already, you need to try it. Alt Innsbruck is a fantastic finish to any shave. It has a tobacco scent, a hint of menthol, and good longevity.

I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday.

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Valet Auto Strop VC3
    Blade - Feather FHS-5 Hi-Stainless (#4)
    Brush - Vie-Long 04312 Cachurro Horse
    Soap - Cella
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
    Result - BBS

After lingering in the "get rid of or not?" pile for months, I thought I'd give Cella another chance tonight. I've only ever used boar brushes and I hadn't really much of the lather before, but given I've now got a horse brush, I tried it again tonight and what a difference! It could possibly go back into the rotation!

    One Blade
    Feather FHS-10
    Druida Robo I Manchurian
    Route 66 Barbershop Hop
    TSD Aftershave 2X Iced Barbershop

Today’s shave was spectacular. The One Blade delivered a smooth two pass unreal close shave, closeness A+ and irritation A+. First the smoothness is noticeable, it’s as if there is no blade in the razor. Areas that normally have stubble after the first pass didn’t. This was the maiden voyage and the honeymoon period has begun. @SaltyBelle's Route 66 Soap is a winner, not just because it’s made in my home state. They are easy lathering, have protective skin care, excellent lubrication, and great scents. Finished with an icy splash of TSD Iced Barber Shoppe.

    Straight Feather Goose Focus

    January 9

For January I'm focusing on two razors, the W.B. Speed Rabbit TSR and the Mongoose, on loan from @Rufus T. Since the Goose uses AC blades I'm using the Feather Pros.

    Razor - Mongoose
    Blade - [IMG](6)
Brush - Vie Long 12601 The Pony
    Soap - Tabac
Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea, Proraso

Saturday, the busiest day of the week normally so I needed a two pass as good as I could get it and be off. Decided to tempt fate and change to Proraso for the A/S today in spite of the Veg's obviously magical powers. The shave was great. Two passes with the Mongoose and I had a very near BBS. Really great result with no nicks or any other problems. The alum was a bit on the hot side but not bad. Can't complain. Threw on the Proraso after the Nivea and love that scent. Off to the battlefield and.......yeah, back to the Veg tomorrow. Worst day of sales this week for me. Again, not superstitious at all. Nope, not me.

Tomorrow will be day 7 on the Feather Pro and I'll be switching to the Rabbit for Monday's shave. I'm enjoying this month so far. I'm not convinced yet I like the Mongoose as much as I thought I would but it's growing on me. Hope you all had a great Saturday.
